Henry Of Pelham White Wine Showcase

Daniel Speck from Niagara's award winning family winery led us through a tasting of a cross section of their selection of white wine on Wednesday April 23, 2003.

In between Speck's informal comments our tasters sniffed, sipped, and slurped their way through four different varietals in eight different styles.

Henry of Pelham's vintages were very well received, with their Barrel Fermented Chardonnay 2000 and Select Late Harvest Reisling 2000 leading the way with median scores of 31 and 30 respectively. Only The Sauvignon Blanc 2002 and Non-oaked Chardonnay 2002 failing to reach at least 25 points.
